Top Rail for RED KOMODO & KOMODO-X

Description

This Top Rail attaches to the top of the RED KOMODO® & KOMODO-X, providing a secure mounting point for top handles and other NATO based accessories. When attaching a Top Handle, a special locating dimple lets you know when it is perfectly centred. The Top Rail also features two military-standard Quick-Detach (QD) points for straps & tethers.

Helicoil, NATO and QD

When it comes to fixing, you can choose from threaded, NATO and QD points, or any combination you need. All threaded points are stainless-steel helicoiled for added strength. Helicoil fittings are crucial to prevent thread stripping or binding. An important factor to consider when constantly changing rig configurations.

The Top Rail can be used with the NATO top handle & 15mm top bar bracket. It can also be used with any other standard NATO accessories.

LeftField KOMODO Adapter Supports

The top rail features a mounting point for our range of lens adapter supports for the RED KOMODO. These supports secure mount adapters to the camera, removing any unwelcome flex or play in the mount.

To use the supports, you will need to add both side plates.
