Description
This Bright Tangerine baseplate kit is designed for RED KOMODO® & KOMODO-X users wanting to add the quick-release 15mm LWS baseplate with support for 15mm rods. This creates a steady foundation to build up the camera and it also allows you to easily transition your entire build between tripod & handheld setups.
The whole kit combined is extremely lightweight & low profile, which keeps all of your Komodo builds, nimble and compact.
Unique Open•Up Quick-release System
The Baseplate kit features our patented Open•Up Quick-Release system, which lets you slide, lock & vertically release the camera from any ARRI standard balance plate or the included low profile dovetail plate.
Compatible with RED KOMODO-X & KOMODO
The riser comes with two sets of washer plates that are uniquely designed to match the screw spacing of RED KOMODO or KOMODO-X. Each plate accommodates a 1/4″ & 3/8″ screw.
To mount your KOMODO, opt for the plate with screw holes spaced closer together (12.5mm). For the KOMODO-X, choose the plate with screw holes spaced further apart (25mm).
Interchangeable Risers
This is just one of the many risers in our range designed for the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate. Switching camera systems is made easy by simply swapping this riser to achieve the correct 15mm LWS height for your camera.
The riser connects to the LeftField 15mm LWS Baseplate using six screws provided.
