Our Returns policy
We know that you will be pleased with your purchases from brighttangerine.com. However, there may be occasions when you will need to return items to us.
1. Non Receipt Of Items
1.1 If you have not received your items you must let us know within 7 days from the estimated delivery date. Once we know you have not received your item we will investigate the matter fully both internally and with our carriers. Unfortunately we cannot investigate non receipt deliveries after this time has elapsed.
2. Items Damaged in Transit
2.1 If any items were damaged in transit, we ask that you report it to us within 7 working days (please note that this is 48 hours for our business customers). If the items are visibly damaged on receipt, it’s best to sign the carrier’s delivery note accordingly. Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once received back into our warehouse, we’ll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs.
3. Items Faulty on Arrival
3.1 If your items are faulty on arrival, you have 28 calendar days in which to inform us of the fault (please note that for our business customers, this is 14 calendar days). Items should be returned in their original packaging complete with all accessories and documentation. Once we have verified the fault, we’ll issue a replacement or full refund to you via your original payment method and reimburse your reasonable return carriage costs. We test returned items, and if a returned item is found not to be faulty by our technicians we will return the item to you, in this instance you will be liable for the return carriage.
4. Items Faulty in Warranty Period
4.1 If any of your purchases develop a fault, and it’s more than 28 calendar days since receipt, then provided your item is within its warranty period, you are entitled to a warranty repair. see Terms and Conditions of Sale
5. Cancellation and returns
5.1 You can cancel your contract at any time up to:
(a) Consumer Contracts 2013 customers – 14 working days after the day of delivery.
(b) Business customers – 5 working days after the day of delivery.

5.2 You do not have to give any reason for cancellation. However, a brief explanation will help us to improve the service we offer to customers in the future.
5.3 If you cancel, the goods must be returned within:
(a) Consumer Contracts 2013 customers – 14 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging at your own expense.
(b) Buisness customers- 5 days of cancellation, complete with the original packaging at your own expense.
For orders outside the EU, goods need to return from the same country as originally shipped. UK customs require documentation of proof of export otherwise additional charges may apply. For this reason we will arrange collection and deduct the carrier charges from the refund.
5,4 You must ensure that the goods are packaged adequately to protect against damage.
5.5 If you fail to return the goods, we will collect them, and we will charge you the direct cost of collection. If you fail to take reasonable care of the goods before they are returned to us, and this results in damage or deterioration, we will charge you for the reduction in value.
5.6 We will refund all monies paid to us with the exception of postage, unless agreed otherwise.
5.7 This cancellation policy does not affect your legal rights – for example, if goods are faulty or misdescribed.
