Assembly
To put the Expert Doco Kit together, begin by connecting the bottom and top plates to the camera. Then, proceed with fitting the side plates and the floating NATO rail.
Next, construct the monitor support section. Attach the 19mm front rod mount to the MAP M4 points on the top plate. Then, mount the 19mm rod and double NATO rail. Prepare the monitor by fixing it onto the holder and then onto the Axl mount.
When attaching the straight loupe adapter, start by removing the 90-degree adapter from the loupe using a T8 driver.
For the shoulder rig assembly, start by attaching the shoulder pad to the rig before securing the VCT-14 mount.
Finish the setup by customizing your dovetail plates and cheeseplates with your preferred accessories.
Make sure to have 3mm and 4mm hex keys, a flathead screwdriver, and a T8 driver ready.

The shoulder rig can be easily attached to any industry-standard VCT-14 tripod adaptor plate. Moreover, it is compatible with a variety of accessories commonly utilized in documentary filmmaking. These include cold shoes, NATO standard rails, and ARRI pin-lock standard 1/4″ & 3/8″ threads. This compatibility offers filmmakers the flexibility to tailor their rig to meet their specific shooting needs.
