The Top Plate for the Sony Rialto Extension Unit adds a sliding, quick-release platform. This allows you to easily switch between interchangeable dovetails, giving you endless support and accessory mounting possibilities. Whether you need a top handle, gimbal mount, or more. It even offers underslung modes using ARRI standard dovetails for added flexibility.
The front of this Top Plate features 15mm LWS rod support, and when combined with the side plates and baseplate, it creates a sturdy cage.

Description
Speed up your workflow when working with the Sony Rialto with a sliding top plate featuring quick-release dovetails. It combines with the side & bottom plates to form a completely rigid cage.
Fast Setup Changes
Switch effortlessly between gimbal and handheld modes or switch out handles and support accessories in a matter of seconds with our quick-release dovetail plates.
These low profile dovetails are equipped with helicoiled 3/8″-16 and ¼”-20 threads, specifically designed to fit Freefly Systems Mōvi and DJI Ronin 2 gimbal systems.
They also offer compatibility with various top handles, giving you the flexibility to customise according to your requirements.
With a hole depth of 10mm, each thread provides excellent support and engagement for all your accessories.
Enhanced Safety Measures
Experience maximum reliability and safety on set with the addition of multiple safety mechanisms. Our safety feature prevents the clamp from opening fully, giving you peace of mind even in fast-paced situations.
To completely lock off the dovetail, the deadlock screw can be engaged, anchoring the dovetail plate into the central position.
Interchangeable Locking Mechanism
Choose between the preinstalled lever lock or swap it out for a sleek space saver lock option. With a 4mm Hex key, you can securely lock and unlock the clamp, eliminating the risk of accidental release.
Integrated 15mm Rod Support
The front of the top plate features integrated 15mm rod support, perfect for adding EVFs, lens motors and other accessories.
With our adjustable bracket, you have the flexibility to set it at the standard 15mm LWS height or lower it, enabling the dovetail to slide over for improved balance. The bracket can be inverted or completely removed to suit your specific needs.
Underslung Mode
For moments where you want to undersling the camera, the clamp is compatible with ARRI standard dovetails
Film Hook Plane & Side Plate Mounting Points
On each side of the top plate is a mounting point with locating holes for the side plates. The right side also features a relocating point for the film hook plane.
Easy Installation
To install, you’ll need a 4mm Hex key. Use the two captive 3/8″ screws to secure the plate, then attach the rod support bracket with the two M4 screws.
